Staff Bios Lilian, Certified Optician, Office Manager Lilian joined our practice in 1997 as a temporary replacement. Due to her craving for knowledge, she has become a certified Optician going to school part time while raising her son Isaiah, and working fulltime. She has been fully board certified (ABOC) since 1999, and has flourished in running and managing both of our practices. She is a trusted and dedicated employee and representative of our office mission(Trust, Education, Compassion, Health…quality of life, quality for life). Her care for patients is incomparable. She continues to educate at Vision expo in New York, Las Vegas and thru journals and online. She recertifies yearly. Lilian lives in redwood shores with her son and two wonderful stepchildren and husband. She is very involved with her kid’s schools and fundraising. She also is involved in church activities, baseball, soccer, softball, basketball and mostly everything for everyone in her extended family and at the office. Her black lab is her newest baby.  Rose, Optometric Technician Rose began her career with the office as a patient 24+ years ago. She has been our office manager for 11 years doing everything and anything asked. She has competently learned Optics, management and patient flow. She can do everything as an optometric technician. Having 9 siblings, a husband of 30 years and two teenagers around the house, she has learned to juggle time, be patient and appease everyone. She loves making patients feel comfortable in the office and is constantly delivering products to places of business and patients homes. She can design eyewear so patients walk out seeing and looking good and with her patients she can train anyone to wear contacts. She spends her off time attending Giants games and watching her boys in all their sporting activities. 
Sylvia Espinoza Sylvia joined our practice in 1998. She quickly learned optics and has become a highly competent optician. She loves designing eyewear to make people feel, see and look good. She has become our Vision Source Representative and is responsible for coordinating meeting venues and working with our Vision Source network. She continues to educate herself by attending national meetings. We love the way she handles our patients. She loves to travel, read, explore eateries and take walks along the beach with her yorkie. 
Gina Quintana Gina graduated from Aragon Highschool in 2009 and has been hired to the Redwood Shores office to scan thousands of files. She has learned so much more and is willing to take on anything that is asked of her. From answering phones to pre testing patients. She is interested in attaining knowledge and plans to continue her education at Cañada College.  Susy Avalos, Office Coordinator Susy was with us back in 2004 to 2005 as part-time. She then returned to our office in August 2009 as full-time. She is very experience in the Customer Service field and now very familiar with the optometry field. She enjoys taking care of our patients by serving them the best way she can by going that extra mile. She takes care of the front desk which include answering phones, scheduling , dispending product and much more. On her time off she enjoys spending time with her two kids by doing outdoor and indoor activities.  Crystal Donis Crystal joined our practice in 2005. Her prior 5 years of optical experience made her a perfect fit for our office. She was already trained as an Optometric assistant and she was able to move right into the role of technician. Her dedication is undeniable. She is there to help everyone and ready to work long hours and workweeks. She has developed a vast knowledge of the industry with her many educational trips to Vision Expo New York and Las Vegas. Crystal has two grown children and a husband of 23 years.  Hannah McElroy Hannah is the newest arrival to our office family. Originally hired to scan thousands of files, now she is our office's pretester. She is quite artistic and lent her talents to our frameroom design and updated displays. She does this without being asked. A true addition to our office, Hannah has two beautiful daughters, a boyfirend of 9 years and spends her off hours painting & creating with her children and tattooing. |
